On October 31, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Economic Affairs and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs moderated by Khosrov Harutyunyan and Gagik Minasyan the debates of the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018 continued, where the RA NA deputies, the RA Ministers and those responsible for the sphere took part.

At the joint sitting the deputies debated the revenues and expenditures designed in the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2018, the financial allocations envisaged for the spheres of industry, transport and communication, energy and natural resources, tariff policy, protection of economic competition, cadastre committee, urban development and water economy.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan presented the financial allocations, the revenues and expenditures of the state budget designed for the abovementioned spheres, and those responsible: the Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee adjunct to the RA Government Vakhtang Mirumyan, the RA Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan, the RA Deputy Minister of Energy Sub-Structures and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan, the RA Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Vahan Martirosyan, the Deputy Chairman of the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) Mikayel Soghomonyan, the Deputy Chairman of the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) Pavel Ghaltakhchyan, the Chairman of the State Urban Development Committee adjunct to the RA Government Narek Sargsyan and the Chairman of the State Committee for Water Management of the RA Ministry of Energy Sub-Structures and Natural Resources Arsen Harutyunyan touched upon the programmes, the policy to be implemented in those spheres, presented the nine-month indices of the current year and answered the deputies’ various questions.

The deputies made proposals, referred to the investments, road construction, the steps taken for the deficit, unemployment and poverty overcoming, expressed concerns over some issues.

At the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees the debate of the state budget draft law of the coming year will continue on November 1.
